Notice No. 1
The Office of Small Matters is hereby established.
Its remit is everything that does not warrant one. Matters of consequence are referred elsewhere; there are offices for those, and they are well attended.
The Office will review submissions from the public. It will not resolve them. Resolution has never been the point and will not become the point.
A matter is small if raising it with anyone else would feel excessive. This is the only test the Office applies.
The Office opens today and expects to be busy.
